Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Acquisition Target.
This mission begins after you are captured by Rempart's robots and soldiers at the end of mission "Acquisition Target". You will be taken to an interrogation room where you will meet Thomas Rempart.
Aiden Pearce has been captured by Thomas Rempart, the prodigal son of an enormous French automation and aviation empire. Rempart assumes that Aiden was working with Wrench, a member of the notorious DedSec San Francisco cell, in order to steal the BrocaBridge from the Deep Labs, when in fact Wrench snatched the gadget right out from under Aiden's nose.
Aiden still has no idea what the hell the BrocaBridge does, all he knows is that Rempart's desperate to have it, and he's threatened Jackson's life unless Aiden can retrieve it. So that's priority number one: getting out of here, and getting Jackson somewhere safe.
Once the interrogation is over and Thomas Rempart has left the room you will gain control of one of the cameras in the room. Aim at the robot and use the "overheat" option.
Then hijack the security camera in the control room...
...and hack the server located there. This will cause Aiden to regain his freedom. He will go outside and you will gain control of him.
Take the stairs to the roof of the building. Being careful not to be seen by the patrolling robot,...
...approach the hub located on the roof and hack it. This will let you know about the availability of a multidrone that you can use to retrieve your stuff.
Still being careful not to be seen by the robot, pick up the drone you find nearby.
Go to some safe place, behind some cover so that the patrolling robot doesn't detect you, and call in the multidrone. Switch to the fly mode and find the box with your stuff. Fly up to the box from above and it will then be attached to the drone, just like how cargo drones work, and you will be able to return to Aiden with it.
Return to Aiden, drop the box, switch to Aiden and then take the contents of the box.
Rempart's Robots
A good way to incapacitate a robot is to activate traps on the roof and make the robot step on them.
Go down the stairs. To open the gate you must call the multidrone again and find the closed circuit terminal.
Your multidrone must be in ground mode to be able to unlock the terminal.
When you open the gate the alarm will sound, and after a while enemies will appear, so it's best to try to quickly leave the restricted area, for example by the way shown on the picture below.
When you get to safety, this mission will end and another one will begin.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Jacks.
