This mission starts after the meeting with Emma Child during which she will reveal to you some information about Malik and offer you cooperation, that is after you complete mission "Smoking Gun".
With help from Richard Malik, DedSec's Zero-Day investigation led to Emma Child, director of SIRS counterterrorism. But when DedSec confronted her, she showed them evidence that Malik set them up. Emma Child has agreed to release DedSec's operative before they assassinate Richard Malik. Find and rescue the operative.

1. RESCUE the DedSec Operative / TALK to [Operative's Name]
Go to the Waterloo Plaza area. You should find a kidnapped member of your team in the nearby tunnel.

2. MEET Malik at Trafalgar Square
With help from Richard Malik, DedSec's Zero-Day investigation led to Emma Child, director of SIRS counterterrorism. But when DedSec confronted her, she showed them evidence that Malik set them up.
Now, DedSec has agreed to work with Child to assassinate Malik before he can perpetrate a false flag terrorist attack. Meet with Richard Malik to confirm it's him and Child's snipers will do the rest.
Go to the square and sit on the bench to wait for Malik. Unfortunately, he will not show up.
3. HACK People to Find Malik
With help from Richard Malik, DedSec's Zero-Day investigation led to Emma Child, director of SIRS counterterrorism. But when DedSec confronted her, she showed them evidence that Malik set them up.
Now, DedSec has agreed to work with Child to assassinate Malik before he can perpetrate a false flag terrorist attack. DedSec arrived at the meeting spot Malik suggested, but he was nowhere to be seen. Find someone in the crowd whose Optik or body camera might have caught a glimpse of Malik.
Start hacking the people in the square and after a while you should find the information you are looking for.
4. ACQUIRE the Dead Drop
With help from Richard Malik, DedSec's Zero-Day investigation led to Emma Child, director of SIRS counterterrorism. But when DedSec confronted her, she showed them evidence that Malik set them up.
Now, DedSec has agreed to work with Child to assassinate Malik before he can perpetrate a false flag terrorist attack. DedSec arrived at the meeting spot Malik suggested, but he was nowhere to be seen. Richard Malik may be using a countersurveillence technique to meet securely. He's left a dead drop in a rubbish bin that probably indicates a second meeting location. Acquire the dead drop.
Walk up to the trash bin can and acquire the Dead Drop out of it.
It will turn out that Malik has seen through your plan. An explosion will occur and Albion soldiers will arrive on the square and start attacking you.
5. ESCAPE the Area / GET to Safety
Leave the square as quickly as possible and lose the chase. Once you do this, the mission will be a complete success.
After completing Kill Box you will get or will be able to get The Malik Dossier.
