Falling from Grace Watch Dogs: Legion Mission

Group: Main Missions

Type: Kelley Mission

This mission starts automatically after you managed to get the definitive evidence against Mary Kelley in mission "Market Closing". You decide that the people she is imprisoning must be rescued.

DedSec disabled Mary Kelley's Golden Goose e-market, destroying her human trafficking ring and providing Kaitlin Lau with enough evidence to take to her contact in the Attorney General's office. But they realized that Mary still has control over the people at Sandstone Residence and is liable to kill them using the microchip.

Get to Sandstone Residence and stop Mary Kelley from silencing her 'slaves'.

Quest stages of Falling from Grace

1. CONFRONT Mary Kelley / LOCATE the Hidden Security Room

First, you need to get into the same security room you got in during the "Bloody Mary Kelley" mission. You can use the spiderbot for this part of the mission, but later you will have to enter the building yourself. This time a much larger part of the building will be available, and you will be able to hijack some of the cameras inside to get a glimpse of what is going on inside.

You can get inside the building in several ways:

  • The front door is open but is well guarded.
  • To open the door on the west side you will need a key. You will find this key in the inner courtyard of the building. You can view it from the camera in the courtyard, but unfortunately it's out of download range for a regular agent (you need hacker with "Key Steal" (Unlimited Range). You can fly a drone there or use a spiderbot.

CONFRONT Mary Kelley / LOCATE the Hidden Security Room

  • The door from the north side is blocked by a closed circuit terminal which is right next to it, but inside the building. So you have to use a spiderbot and get it into the building by some other route.

  • On the east side there is a garage. The door is locked by a closed circuit terminal but you can let a spiderbot in through the hole near the ground and unlock it.

CONFRONT Mary Kelley / LOCATE the Hidden Security Room

  • You can also let the spiderbot in through the window on the upper floor just like you did during the mission "Bloody Mary Kelley". Just use the scissor lift again and throw the spiderbot through the window.

CONFRONT Mary Kelley / LOCATE the Hidden Security Room

I personally let the spiderbot in through the window upstairs and used it to open the door on the north side of the building. Then I entered the building with my character and went up the stairs on the right side to the top floor.

You can get to the control room using the spiderbot through the ventilation duct. If you want to enter it with your character, pull the lever in the corridor and the secret entrance hidden behind the clock will open.

2. DISABLE the Microchip Control Mechanism

Enter the control room and use the computer to disable the microchips.

When you do this, Mary, who realizes that her microchips have stopped working, will lock herself in a room that can only be accessed by an elevator.

3. POWER UP the Lift / SURVIVE until the Lift Powers Up

The computer that controls the elevator is located in the base of the statue standing in the middle of the lower level of the building. You don't need to get to it in person, you can just use the spiderbot.

POWER UP the Lift / SURVIVE until the Lift Powers Up

The elevator itself is on the upper level, which is the same level the control room is on.

POWER UP the Lift / SURVIVE until the Lift Powers Up

To avoid fighting with the guards you can try to do as I did. Use the scissor lift and send the spiderbot through the open window at the top floor. Use it to unlock the door on the north side and go to the control room to disable the microchips. Switch to the security cameras and activate the traps that are in range. If you have the skill "Attract Hack" then you can lure guards to the traps. You can also activate some traps with your spiderbot on the way to the control room.

POWER UP the Lift / SURVIVE until the Lift Powers Up

Wait in the control room for a while until some guards are neutralized. Then, while still controlling the spiderbot, wait until there are no guards near the statue who can spot you, interact with the computer (this will start the power up process, which will take quite a long time) and then quickly hide in a place where the guards will not find you. I hid behind the railing on the upper floor in the place shown in the picture below, but it may not necessarily be a safe place in your case. You must stay in range or the powering up process will stop.

POWER UP the Lift / SURVIVE until the Lift Powers Up

When the power up process is over then wait until the situation in the building calms down, switch to your character, enter the building through the north door, then up the stairs on the right to the upper floor and into the elevator. You should be able to use it.

4. DEFEAT Mary Kelley

When you get off the elevator enter the room where Mary Kelley is hiding.

DEFEAT Mary Kelley

Kaitlin Lau will also come there and at first she will try to arrest Mary, but eventually she will change her mind and Mary Kelley will meet the fate she deserved.

DEFEAT Mary Kelley

Your character will automatically leave the building and this mission and the whole chapter will end.

DEFEAT Mary Kelley

After completing Falling from Grace you will get or will be able to get Restoking the Fire (1 of 2).
