Day 85. Waves high. Heavy rain.

I still can't believe our home island fell from the sky...

It's been several months since then. We still flee the marines. We have nowhere to go, and nowhere to return to.

Day 154. Waves calm. Partly cloudy.

The marines are finally getting serious. They continue their assault, day and night.

With our ship at its limit, we have enacted a desperate plan to steal an enemy ship.

It was a hard fight, but we succeeded. We gained food and medicine from the ship we stole.

Now we can keep surviving... I take hope in this.

Day 521. Medium waves.

Cloudy. We finally lost the enemy ships. The next thing I knew, day broke.

Writing at a time like this...

The 3-day storm subsided. The rain stopped and light can be seen through the clouds.

The sky is blue, but there are clouds in the distance. That makes me even more homesick.

I remember the clouds being closer back home.

Day 4,015. Sea calm. Mostly cloudy.

Our journey continues. We search for islands to get food and water, but found nothing but sea today.

I saw the faces of my family in clouds on the horizon. My father, mother, and my brother... The war took everything from me.

The choice we were given that day... to fight for our home.

Could we have made any other choice?

Day 20,327. Waves high. Overcast.

Today I record casualties.

Laslo, Sheldon, Brigga the drunk, Mahomick the vanguard.

One more... that bastard Ardel is gone, too.

What did we do? We were only searching for a place to live.

The marines never stop their assault. We've fought them 3 times already today.

Lately they've been using pirates and so-called vigilantes to try and catch us.

I hear they're calling us the evil clan who tried to destroy the world.

All the people on land hate us now because of that rumor.

Fine, then we'll drive off the marines following us and show them!

Evil or not, we'll show them that we have the best warriors in the world.

Day 60,225. Rough waves. Storming.

This is a record of joy and sorrow.

Today, on a ship rocked by a wild storm, my daughter was born. At the same time, I lost my beloved wife...

My weakened wife gave her own life to give birth to our child.

I named the child Revina. I pray that she grows strong and kind. That was my wife's last wish.

Adio held back tears as he promised his silent mother that he would protect his sister.

Day 64,012. No waves. Sunny.

An attack by the marines drove us into a cavernous cove.

The marine fleet has blocked the entrance and is waiting in battle formation. I ignored Pororoka's warning and gave the order to force our way out.

In the end, we fell into a trap, but Pororoka's quick wit saved us.

I hate to admit it, but he was right about everything...

I told him he was more suited to be captain, but he just laughed and said I think too much.

Day 65,312. Waves high. Cloudy.

I'm wounded and can't grip the pen. I'm writing this in much pain.

I ran into some incredibly strong people.

I don't know if it was coincidence or if they were waiting for me, but who I thought were marines called themselves the Four Emperors.

Pororoka didn't think it wise to make more enemies, so he went to negotiate, but came back in a terrible state.

There is no room for negotiation. I couldn't let them hurt my friends.

The battle began and I gave them everything I had.

I didn't see the Four Emperors, but I sank half of their fleet! In the end, we were beat up, too...

I told Pororoka I didn't lose, just called it a draw, and we laughed at the shape we were in.

Day 65,335. Waves calm. Sunny.

I will record in the captain's stead.

The marines put out new wanted posters. I learned this when I went ashore for supplies.

The bounty increased, but not nearly as much as Adio predicted. The crew joked that it was a low price for all the ships we sank.

Adio accepted it with a smile, but was inwardly disappointed.

Adio bragged that "Master of the Gun" was written on the wanted posters.

He said, "I wield two guns, which is double the danger, so the bounty should be doubled!"

A completely childish argument.

He said everyone should keep a journal, so that's what I'll do.

I can't wait to see his face when he reads this tomorrow.

Day 67,869. Wavelets. Sunny.

Today will be a day to remember for the clan.

Pororoka gathered news through his unique route, and came to me today with a big smile and one conclusion.

He searched for the place our tribe should go after all our running and wandering.

Waford, the legend of the Great Blue Sea... appeared one night.

The conclusion Pororoka arrived at was the island called "Waford" had to be our home that was dropped into the sea.

Our home was on this sea that we had been wandering listlessly across. I'm excited just thinking about it.

Finding the location, planning the route, there is so much to do.

Waford... That is the place we must go!

Day 67,870. Some waves. Sunny.

I, the former captain, will record this for the current captain, who is too busy.

Today Adio burst into my quarters with his face burning red.

I was surprised, but then he said he found our home.

It's hard to believe it's still in the Great Blue Sea after falling from the sky, but seeing his face gave me hope.

What would remain on the island, though... Even if our home survived, it doesn't mean the people or anything else are fine.

I wonder what he'll say when he sees our home without the people or the Divine Breath.

Adio, you can't keep chasing what you lost.

From the bottom of my heart, I pray that this journey will reveal our clan's future.

Day 70,581. Few waves. Cloudy.

I sent 3 more friends off today.

I can still feel their hands I shook before sending them off.

All I can do is pray for their safety.

I kept repeating that I'd contact them when we reach Waford, like some kind of excuse.

We've come this far, but the marines pursue us with renewed vigor.

After Pororoka's suggestion that our clan moving in large numbers would be dangerous, we spent 3 years spreading ourselves among the islands of the Grand Line.

Pororoka investigated people himself, and found safe places to live in small numbers.

As leader of the clan, I owe Pororoka so much. I wasn't much of a leader, but I vow that if he is ever in danger, I will protect him with my own life.

Day 71,842. Rough seas. Stormy.

To Waford... The day is finally here. Waford is surrounded by storms, but our navigator, Pororoka, has plotted us a course to keep damage to a minimum.

Waford is right in front of us. The storms get more intense as if to test us, for better or worse. The marines following us are getting closer to us in this storm.

At such a pivotal time, however, I'm in pretty bad condition. These mysterious shakes threaten to make me drop my pen.

I've been like this since I ate the dinner Pororoka made. Would such a skilled cook fail in choosing ingredients?

I'll rest when I'm dead though. We're almost to our home that we spent so long searching for!
