This quest begins when you wake up the next day after Sir Hans has managed to lead you to the cottage where Bozhena lives.
Me and Hans Capon managed to flee from the raiders who attacked us at the pond. We found refuge that night with Bozhena, an old herb woman living nearby. She took care of me, but Sir Hans got worse during the night. Now I have to get my strength back and then help Bozhena care for Sir Hans, if at all possible.

1. Stop the bleeding.
Bozhena sorted out my injured shoulder pretty well, but the wound started bleeding again in the morning. She gave me some bandages and told me to bandage the wound properly. That should help.
To stop the bleeding, open the inventory and apply enough (4) bandages to all wounded body parts (torso).

2. Eat.
I'm as hungry as a wolf. I'd better have something to eat to get me fit and strong. Bozhena said I'd find something outside on the table. And if it's not enough, there's a pot of soup on the stove.
Eat a bit of food from the pot twice.

3. Splash water on yourself at the tub.
A little cold water will do me good. And I can wash of all the blood and grime so I look like a person again.
Go outside the hut and wash yourself.

4. Show yourself to Bozhena.
I took care of myself the way Bozhena wanted. I have to ask her how Sir Hans is coming along.
Return to the shack and talk to Bozhena. She will ask you to help gather the herbs needed to prepare a healing potion for Sir Hans, and, but this will be an optional task, to bury the enemy Sir Hans fought during the night.

Thanks to Bozhena I feel a lot better and I'm back on my feet. Sir Hans is going to need a remedy for his fever, so I have to get hold of some fresh herbs.
5. (Optional) Take the spade.
If I'm going bury someone, I'll need the right tool. Like a spade, which should be somewhere near the manure pit.
Burying the brute who attacked Sir Hans is optional, but if you do it before you go to get the herbs you will gain the opportunity to avoid a fight with two bandits who will soon visit Bozhena's hut.
You will find the shovel outside, near the corpse. It is leaned against the fence.

6. (Optional) Pick up the corpse.
Grab the corpse lying in the courtyard.

7. (Optional) Carry the corpse to the stream.
The place to which you should carry the corpse is marked on the map.

8. (Optional) Dig a grave.
Approach the place where you can start digging, drop the corpse and dig a grave.

9. (Optional) Put the corpse in the grave.
Before burying the bandit, search him and take his items. Then bury the corpse in the grave.

10. Pick sage.
Bozhena said that there's a path that leads from behind the cottage through the rocks to a glade where I'll find the sage she needs.
The place you should go to collect the herbs will be marked on the map.

Sage has a purple blossom.

11. Pick chamomile.
I need to pick chamomile as well as sage.
Chamomile is white with a yellow centre.

12. Fetch herbs for Bozhena.
Great, I've got the sage and chamomile Bozhena sent me for. So now I have to take it back to her.
Move on the way back to Bozhena's hut. When you reach its vicinity you will notice from the dog's behavior that something worrying has happened.

13. Find out what's happening at Bozhena's.
It seems there's something going on at Bozhena's. I'd better find out what, but cautiously...
...
Some fellows came to Bozhena's looking for us. They claimed to be from Lord von Bergow, but that was a lie. More likely they belong to that band that attacked us down by the pond.
14. (Optional) Get hold of a weapon!
You never know what might happen. I'd best have a weapon, just in case. There might be a woodcutting axe around here somewhere at least.

15. Arm yourself!
I've got a weapon. I should keep it under my belt so it's to hand if needed. Who knows what might happen in these parts.
16. Repel the men who've come!
Those fellows who came to Bozhena's accosted me. I've got to get rid of them to save Sir Hans, Bozhena and myself.

17. Brew a healing potion.
I have to brew a herbal remedy for Sir Hans. Bozhena has an alchemical apparatus in an alcove here, and if I'm at a loss she'll tell me what to do, so it should be easy enough.
...
I picked the herbs as Bozhena advised and brewed the chamomile remedy for Sir Hans. I handed it over to Bozhena, and now she'll take care of Sir Hans.
18. Give Bozhena the potion.
Bozhena is taking care of Sir Hans. I just have to give her the remedy and she'll do the rest.
...
I gave the remedy to Bozhena. She'll take treat Sir Hans with it and take care of him.
19. Sleep until morning.
Bozhena said I should get some more rest. The sensible thing would be to take her advice and go and lie down. A good sleep works wonders.
...
I did what I could and then took Bozhena's advice and went to lie down. I slept till morning.
20. Join the others for breakfast.
Sir Hans seems healthy and in good spirits, and Bozhena's daughter Pavlena called me for breakfast. I'd better not miss that. It seems like things are looking up…
21. Talk to Capon about leaving for Trosky.
Sir Hans is in better shape. We need to get a move on and continue on our journey to Trosky to deliver the message from Sir Hanush and Sir Radzig.
...
The next day, Sir Hans and I were both fit enough to carry on with our mission. We had breakfast with Bozhena and her daughter Pavlena and then set out for Trosky to deliver the message we were sent with by Sir Hanush and Sir Radzig.
22. Bury Mikesh the cut-throat.
23. Bury the ruffian Kozliek.
24. Look in the book.
25. Read the recipe and return to the bench.
26. Pour the correct base into the cauldron.
27. Move the cauldron down.
28. Let the cauldron boil.
29. Move the cauldron up.
30. Open your inventory.
31. Prepare the herbs.
32. Toss in two handfuls of chamomile.
33. Turn the sandglass over.
34. Brew the chamomile for one turn of the sandglass.
35. Move the cauldron up.
36. Grind a handful of sage.
37. Toss the ground sage into the cauldron.
38. Pour out the remedy.
39. Dig a grave.
40. Cover the corpse with earth.
At night a scoundrel stalked us at Bozhena's. Capon took care of him, although he caught it pretty badly himself. I figured it best to clear that dead bastard from the yard and put under the ground to calm Bozhena. God have mercy on his sinful soul.
41. Pick up Mikesh.
42. Carry Mikesh to the stream.
43. Cover Mikesh with earth.
It wasn't long before we were stalked by more villains. It wasn't easy to deal with them, but somehow I managed and finally buried one of them in the woods near Bozhena's hut. The old woman will sort it out with the undertaker when he comes around.
44. Carry Kozliek to the stream.
45. Pick up Kozliek.
46. Dig a grave.
47. Cover Kozliek with earth.
Kozliek, so they called him, sought us out at Bozhena's, and in the end there was no other way than to send him to eternity, otherwise we would have ended up there ourselves. Now he rests underground. I hope he won't come out to haunt me or Bozhena. The sooner the undertaker puts him in his proper place the better, but that won't be my concern any more. I hope...
48. Put Kozliek down near the grave.
49. Put Mikesh down near to the grave.
50. Check on Bozhena.
Now I should check on Bozhena and make sure she's alright.
51. Log
