You need to find a total of 16 Map Pieces and put them together to get a reward. Once you have all the map pieces, return to Jax's house in Bastion and place them on the board you can find there. You will then receive a new mission - "A Well-guarded Secret".
Follow the mission marker to the Old Ironworks. You will come across a console in an abandoned building that asks for a password. Select "Infinite Skies Inc" to open the safe next to it.
The most important item that is in this safe is the Prototype. This prototype computer chip can be used with the Adjutor. It can make teleporters visible and gives more experience.
