Alchemists are one of the types of vendors available in Diablo 4. They can upgrade potions, craft elixirs and incense, and refine your resources.

How to unlock alchemists in Diablo 4?

Unlocking access to alchemists is very easy and will happen soon after completing the game's prologue. First of all, you need to reach level 10 and then you will receive a priority quest - Healing Potion Upgrading. So head over to the Alchemist in Kyovashad, who will then ask you to complete the task of upgrading your base Weak Vial to a Tiny Healing Vial. Once you've completed this, the Alchemist will then be unlocked.

Alchemists' services

• The first service is the ability to upgrade your healing vial potions. To upgrade your healing potions, you need to provide the alchemist with the right amount of materials and reach the right level of experience.
• The second function Alchemists serve is to allow you to craft Elixirs. Elixirs are consumable items that give you specific buffs for a 30-minute duration and you may only have one elixir active at a time.
• The next service Alchemists can provide is the ability to refine resources. This means that they can transmute one of the resources into another one.
• The last of the services available from Alchemists is the ability to craft Incense.
