This quest is a follow-up to the "The Heavy" quest. After Hoss is freed from the hands of the Tusken, he agrees to join Kay's team. First he wants to get something done so he sets up a meeting with Kay at the Moss Eisley landing pad.
Having rescued Hoss from the Tusken, he has signed up to join the heist crew. With some last business to take care of, Hoss is waiting for Kay at Docking Bay 94.

To begin Partners you must first complete The Heavy.
Quest stages of Partners
1. Meet with Hoss in Mos Eisley. / Meet with Hoss in the docking bay.
Hop on a speeder and travel to the iconic Mos Eisley. When you reach the city its map will be unlocked. Make your way to the Docking Bay 94.
2. Wait for Hoss.
To wait for Hoss sit on a small cube located on the landing pad.
Kay will contact Hoss by radio and hear that he is settling something in the cantina and will arrive a little later. Kay does not want to wait and decides to go to the cantina.
3. Meet with Hoss in the cantina.
Head to the Chalmun's Cantina. As soon as you enter it, the cutscene will start. Kay discovers that Hoss is playing sabacc. Hoss loses and has nothing to pay with so he gives his opponent Nix. Kay is very unhappy about this but gets stunned. When she regains consciousness she finds out that Nix has probably been sold to Jabba.
Hoss has gambled Nix away to one of Jabba the Hutt's enforcers, giving Kay no choice but to break into Jabba's palace to rescue her friend.
4. Break into Jabba's palace.
Follow the quest marker. It will take you to a tunnel that leads to the surroundings of Jabba's palace.
Go through the tunnel and then follow the path ahead until you reach the place where you have to get off the speeder. Continue on foot and go through a crack in the wall.
Continue forward. Jump over the chasm and climb up the wall. A little further on you will have to do it again. Walking further, you will reach a grappling point that will allow you to get to the other side of the cleft.
Climb through the hole in the wall and quietly take down the guard watching the valley through binoculars.
Walk forward a bit and then the guard located by the road should move ahead. When he moves further away proceed through the breach in the wall to the outside of the wall.
Use the ledges on the side of the wall and move to the other side.
Go around the rocks and through another breach in the wall back to the main road. Sneak up to the next guard and knock him down.
Keep sneaking until you reach another breach in the wall. Step outside and using the ledges on the side of the bridge get to the other side of it.
Go under the bridge to its left side and climb the wall. Follow the path over the rocks that runs along and a bit above the road.
When you reach the end of the path wait until the guards are not looking in your direction, jump down and stop behind a boulder ahead. When it's safe continue forward. When you reach a grappling point, use it to swing over to the wall opposite, then climb it.
Use the grappling point located at the base of a small window above. Climb the rope and enter the tower through the window.
5. Search for Nix.
Follow the corridor ahead until you reach the red door leading to the staircase. To continue this quest turn right and head down the stairs. Pay attention not to be noticed by the guard standing in the passage.
Wait until he turns around and enter the room and then move on.
In the room at the bottom of the staircase, find the entrance to the ventilation duct.
On the other side of the ventilation duct you will come across a guard, whom you should quietly knock down.Be careful not to be spotted by the guard patrolling the corridor.
You can stun the guard patrolling the corridor with a stun mode of your blaster and then, when he is stunned, attack him melee and take him down.
Move forward and get rid of the guard standing in the alcove on the left.
Hook up at the grapple point in the room with a large generator and slide down. You don't have to be worried about a guard going out through the door. He will not return.
You don't have to do it, but if you slice the terminal, you will open a gate to a room on the level below where there are some treasures.
To get down, grab the ledge, move to the back of the platform and climb down the ladder.
To continue this quest, go through the door through which the guard walked a little earlier and, watching out not to be spotted, enter the ventilation duct on the right.
When you emerge on the other side of the ventilation duct, see where the guard patrolling the room is, and when he doesn't look in your direction, approach the door, use the data spike to unlock it and go through to the other side.
6. Get the key.
Wait until the guards finish their conversation and move away. Then sneak up to the one who stayed behind and knock him down.
Move on and enter the ventilation duct on the left.
The small room on the other side will be empty, with no guards. Use the data spike to unlock the door and step out into the corridor. The key is in the possession of the guard patrolling the corridor.
The easiest way will be to use the stun mode on your blaster and shoot him when he walks through the door. Then neither the guard standing against the wall nor those standing in the other room will notice his death.
Sneak up to the corpse and take the Storage Room Keycard.
Then go back the same way you got here to the door through which Beastmaster entered, use the card you just got to unlock the door and move on.
7. Rescue Nix from the menagerie.
Enter the ventilation duct the entrance to which is a little further ahead.
This duct will lead you to a cold storage room. Exit the cold room into the corridor. There are no guards in this part. Find the switch located on the wall on the left and toggle it. When you do, a gate to the side cell will open behind your back.
Enter the cell and then proceed to the neighboring cell. Now you will have to get past some guards. When the two guards on the right start to move, step out onto the corridor and hide behind a big crate at first, then proceed and crouch behind two boxes. You should then see the third guard.
Wait until this guard is facing the wall and move behind the next cover. Now wait until the guard moves to the left, then approach the wall and pull the switch located on it. A gate to another side cell will then open.
Quickly go back behind the cover and sneak towards the gate that has opened. When the guard patrolling the corridor is not looking in your direction, move towards the gate and enter the cell.
Continue walking until you reach another gate leading to a corridor. Observe where the guard patrolling the corridor is located and proceed to the other side of the corridor and enter the room behind the red door.
In this room, on the table, you will find a keycard that opens the gate to the menagerie.
Return to the corridor, again figure out where the guard is, and when it is safe go through the gate.
You will enter the menagerie. Move forward. Be prepared that when you approach the cage where Nix is imprisoned, the gate at the other side of the menagerie will open and two heavy enemies will come and attack you.
Both opponents will try to get close to you and hit you in melee, dealing heavy damage. So don't let them get close, try to keep the distance and shoot them with your blaster. Use power attacks whenever possible.
8. Defeat the beastmaster.
When you defeat both opponents, via the same gate through which they entered, beastmaster and two masstiffs will step into the menagerie. The beasts can only attack you at close range, while beastmaster can shoot. In any way you prefer, kill them all.
10. Escape with Nix.
Exit via the door through which the enemies entered a while ago and turn right to the staircase. A custscene will start. Kay comes face to face with Jabba, who has also captured Hoss. Vail, who is still hunting Kay, tries to convince Jabba to hand Kay over to her. She does it unsuccessfully and eventually Kay, Hoss and Vail end up in a pit under Jabba's chamber where they are attacked by masstiffs. Hoss becomes their first victim, and your reputation with the Hutts will drop significantly.
12. Escape the palace.
Leave the cave through the door at the end of it. To unlock it you will have to use the data spike.
Follow the path forward. At some point you will be attacked by three thugs. Find the cover and kill them.
A little further down the corridor you will have to get rid of three bandits and a battle droid.
A little further on, three more opponents will try to stop you.
No more opponents will stand in your way and going further you will eventually reach a large hangar.
Jump down and run towards the exit and then the cutscene will start. Kay and Vail do not manage to leave the hangar before the gate closes. The gate on the other side opens and a rancor emerges from behind it. Vail will approach the terminal and try to open the gate, and Kay's task will be to distract the rancor.
13. Kill the rancor.
Your task is to make the rancor to charge three times at the hangar door. There is a rail along the ceiling of the hangar that carries large explosive barrels around the hangar. To cause the rancor to charge, shoot one of these barrels when the rancor is nearby.
As the rancor prepares to charge, you will see a circular meter made of small segments over his head that will begin to fill up in red. Once it fills up, the rancor will charge towards where you were standing when the circle appeared. So you need to position yourself so that you are between the rancor and the gate. If the rancor charges but does not hit the gate, it will charge again after a while, so you have a moment to position yourself properly.
When the rancor hits the gate for the first time, the transport lane will jam and new barrels will stop appearing for a while. Three guards will run into the hangar, through the gates at the end, and start shooting at you. Get rid of them quickly and then, in a similar manner as before, force the rancor to charge and hit the gate.
In the next phase you need to look for a lever to restart the railing system. The lever is on a platform out of your reach, so you'll need to ask Nix to flip switch it.
When the rancor hits the gate for the third time, a curtscene starts. Kay and Vail come out through the hole in the gate outside, but are captured by Jabba's men and brought before him. This time Jabba is in a good mood because he was entertained by the whole situation and makes the girls a proposal. He wants Kay and Vail to do something for him.
This quest end, your reputation with the Hutts will increase moderately (but overall, it will drop after the whole quest), Jabba will agree to return Nix to you, and a new quest will start.
After completing Partners you will get or will be able to get Jabba's Favor.
