Prior missions
To begin Project Dagger you must first complete The Ranger.
Objectives of Project Dagger
1. Work with your allies to get Project Dagger operational
In order to complete this objective you need to achieve at least level 5 of reputation with each of your three allies and complete the missions they ask you to complete.
- John Marshal: Blackout and The Signal
- Loosum Hagar: Wasteland Celebrity and Beneath the Surface
- Doctor Kvasir: Ground Control and Double Cross
To gain reputation with John Marshal you have to complete Kill & Destroy locations and activities: Mutie Nests, Electro Forges, Bandit Dens, Crusher Nests.
To gain reputation with Loosum Hagar you have to complete Capture & Control locations and activities: Pit Stops, Road Chokers, Repowering Stations, Convoys, Authority Sentries.
To gain reputation with Dr. Kvasir you have to complete Search & Recover locations and activities: Arks, Ranger Echoes, Feltrite Meteorites.
2. Get inside the Authority Headquarters
To get inside the Authority Headquarters you have to go there in the Xerxes III tank.
3. Find General Cross
The first part of the route into the complex you will drive in a tank, not disturbed by anyone.
At some point, however, it will turn out that the general knows of your arrival.
The next part of the route will still be driven in a tank, but you will have to fight many opponents, for example, other tanks. Look around and watch out for mines lying on the ground.
Eventually, you'll reach a place from where you'll have to walk.
Along the way you will meet many opponents, some of them will be a bit more challenging. The last enemy you will have to defeat before you reach the general will be the one more cyber crusher.
4. Confront General Cross
You'll find the general in the next room.
Soon you will realize that he is sitting on the top of a collosal titan.
5. Kill General Cross
The fight against the titan is about destroying the "blue elements" on his wrists, his shoulders and his head. When the titan is out of range, you'll have to eliminate waves of increasingly stronger enemies that appear on the platform you're on.
When you destroy the last element on the titan's head, the general will fall before you.
The virus created by Dr. Kvasir will prevent another reincarnation of General Cross.
The poison applied to the general also had a negative effect on you, but Dr. Kvasir was able to neutralise its effects ... so you can continue your game ;-)
