Rage 2 Nanotrites

Index

Rage 2 players have eight nanotrite abilities they can unlock and upgrade, as well as three main attributes. Most of the abilities are acquired by visiting the Arks.

How to respec / reset nanotrites in Rage 2?

If you want to respec your character in Rage 2, then you should visit The Cyber Doc named Doc Karl in Wellspring in the Torn Plains region. You can purchase the Nanotrite Reset from him for $500.

Rage 2 Nanotrites

Shatter

Lunge towards targets and unleash a strong kinetic SHATTER that sends enemies flying and breaks armor.

  • Level 1: Shatter damage and knockback at 100%.
  • Level 2: Shatter damage and knockback is boosted to 125%.
  • Level 3: Shatter damage and knockback is maxed out at 150%.

Shatter Perks

  • Warping Shatter - Level 1. The warp range of SHATTER increases by 50%
  • Cooldown 1 - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced from 25 to 20 seconds.
  • Cooldown 2 - Level 2. Cooldown is reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.
  • Shockwave - Level 2. SHATTER unleashes a small shockwave that inflicts collateral damage.
  • Double Shatter - Level 3. An additional Shatter can be charged.

Grav-Jump

Use your GRAV-JUMP booster to give you an extra burst of lift while in the air.

  • Level 1: A momentaneous boost that results in a small air jump.
  • Level 2: Keep holding [Space] after an air jump to extend airtime and reach.
  • Level 3: Keep holding [Space] after an air jump to max out its airtime and reach.

Grav-Jump Perks

  • Grav-Jump Float - Level 1. Hold [Key/Button] while airborne to activate up to 2 seconds of mid-air suspension.
  • Grav-Jump Float 2 - Level 2. Killing an enemy during GRAV-JUMP FLOAT extends duration with 1 second.
  • Grav-Jump Float 3 - Level 3. Default duration of GRAV-JUMP FLOAT is extended to 3 seconds.

Defibrillation

Save yourself from death by discharging electrical shocks to the heart. Automatically activates while dying.

  • Level 1: Regenerate 5% health per successful shock.
  • Level 2: Health regeneration from a successful shock is boosted to 10%.
  • Level 3: Health regeneration from a successful shock is boosted to 15%.
  • Level 4: Health regeneration from a successful shock is boosted to 20%.
  • Level 5: Health regeneration from a successful shock is maxed out at 25%.

Defibrillation Perks

  • Reshock 1 - Level 1. The amount of shocks during DEFIBRILLATION increases to 3.
  • Cooldown 1 - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced to 4 minutes.
  • Avenging Aftermath 1 - Level 2. A powerful electrical shockwave is unleashed after DEFIBRILLATION. Shockwave range is 6 meters.
  • Fortified Aftermath 1 - Level 2. A temporary cellular reinforcement reduces all damage by 50% for 10 seconds after DEFIBRILLATION.
  • Avenging Aftermath 2 - Level 3. The range of AVENGING AFTERMATH increases to 9 meters and damage is boosted by 50%.
  • Overdrive Preservation - Level 3. Overdrive charge is preserved after DEFIBRILLATION.
  • Reshock 2 - Level 3. The amount of shocks during DEFIBRILLATION increases to 4.
  • Fortified Aftermath 2 - Level 4. Duration of FORTIFIED AFTERMATH increases to 20 seconds.
  • Cooldown 2 - Level 4. Cooldown is reduced to 3 minutes.
  • Avenging Aftermath 3 - Level 5. The range of AVENGING AFTERMATCH increases to 12 meters and damage is boosted by 100%.

Barrier

Raise an energy BARRIER that blocks bullets and explosions.

  • Level 1: Barrier lasts 10 seconds.
  • Level 2: Barrier duration is boosted to 12.5 seconds.
  • Level 3: Barrier is maxed out at 15 seconds.

Barrier Perks

  • Cooldown 1 - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced from 30 to 25 seconds.
  • Ability Absorption - Level 1. Damage absorbed by the BARRIER is used to charge ABILITIES.
  • Oversize 1 - Level 2. The BARRIER grows larger.
  • Overdrive Absorption - Level 2. Damage absorbed by the BARRIER is used to charge OVERDRIVE.
  • Cooldown 2 - Level 3. Cooldown is reduced from 25 to 20 seconds.
  • Oversize 2 - Level 3. The BARRIER grown even larger.
  • Touch of Death - Level 3. The BARRIER can inflict rupturing damage to enemies that touch it.

Rush

A brief sprint boost that is useful for both offense and defense.

  • Level 1: Sprint speed is boosted to 125% when activating RUSH.
  • Level 2: Sprint speed is boosted to 150% when activating RUSH.
  • Level 3: Sprint speed is maxed out at 175% when activating RUSH.

Rush Perks

  • Recharge 1 - Level 1. Recharging of RUSH is boosted by 25%.
  • Duration 1 - Level 1. Maximum duration increases to 5 seconds.
  • Rush Strike - Level 2. Press [Key/Button] after rushing for at least 1 second, to trigger a heavy impact Melee Strike that inflicts 25% more damage.
  • Duration 2 - Level 2. Maximum duration increases to 7 seconds.
  • Recharge 2 - Level 3. Recharging of RUSH is boosted by 50%.
  • Cloaked Rush - Level 3. Refraction camouflage makes you invisible to enemies during RUSH.

Vortex

Deploy a singularity that pulls in nearby enemies. Step into the VORTEX to launch yourself into the air.

  • Level 1: Vortex strength is at 100%.
  • Level 2: Vortex strength and range is boosted to 150%.
  • Level 3: Vortex strength and range is maxed out at 200%.

Vortex Perks

  • Anti Gravity 1 - Level 1. Vortex detonation can create an anti-gravity field around enemies that lasts for 2 seconds.
  • Cooldown 1 - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced from 25 to 20 seconds.
  • Anti Gravity 2 - Level 2. The duration of the anti-gravity field increases to 3.5 seconds.
  • Weaken 1 - Level 2. Enemies take 20% more damage while afflicted by the Vortex.
  • Cooldown 2 - Level 2. Cooldown is reduced from 20 to 15 seconds.
  • Anti Gravity 3 - Level 3. The duration of the anti-gravity field increases to 5 seconds.
  • Weaken 2 - Level 3. Enemies take 40% more damage while afflicted by the Vortex.

Constitution

Automatic cellular regeneration that partially heals injuries and protects from incoming damage. Regenerates health when picking up FELTRITE.

  • Level 1: BULLET PROTECTION at nominal level.
  • Level 2: Damage from BULLETS is reduced by 10%.
  • Level 3: Damage from BULLETS is reduced by 20%.
  • Level 4: Damage from BULLETS is reduced by 30%.
  • Level 5: Damage from BULLETS is reduced by 40%.

Constitution Perks

  • Feltrite Absorption 1 - Level 1. Health regeneration from picking up FELTRITE is increased by 20%.
  • Kinetic Shield 1 - Level 1. Damage from EXPLOSIONS and MELEE STRIKES is reduced by 20%.
  • Elemental Shield 1 - Level 2. Damage from FIRE and ELECTRICITY is reduced by 20%.
  • Regen Capacity - Level 2. Auto healing of injuries is boosted by 10 percentage points.
  • Elemental Shield 2 - Level 3. Damage from FIRE and ELECTRICITY is reduced by 30%.
  • Kinetic Shield 2 - Level 3. Damage from EXPLOSIONS and MELEE STRIKES is reduced by 30%.
  • Regen Efficiency - Level 4. Health regeneration is sped up by 25% and delay is shortened by 1 second.
  • Feltrite Absorption 2 - Level 5. Health regeneration from picking up FELTRITE is increased by 40%.
  • Elemental Shield 3 - Level 5. Damage from FIRE and ELECTRICITY is reduced by 40%.
  • Kinetic Shield 3 - Level 5. Damage from EXPLOSIONS and MELEE STRIKES is reduced by 40%.

Rage 2 Nanotrites

Focus

Focus NANOTRITES to highlight enemies and pull in nearby FELTRITE.

  • Level 1: FOCUS can highlight targets within 50 meters.
  • Level 2: FOCUS can highlight targets within 75 meters.
  • Level 3: FOCUS can highlight targets within 100 meters.

Focus Perks

  • Remote Detonation 1 - Level 1. Remotely detonate explosives during FOCUS.
  • Regen Booster 1 - Level 1. Health regeneration speed is boosted to 150% during FOCUS.
  • Remote Detonation 2 - Level 2. The speed of REMOTE DETONATION is boosted by 100%.
  • Regen Booster 2 - Level 2. Health regeneration speed is boosted to 200% during FOCUS.
  • Remote Detonation 3 - Level 3. The speed of REMOTE DETONATION is boosted by another 100%.

Overdrive

A temporary superpowered state that regenerates health. Kill enemies to charge, keep a high KILL MULTIPLIER to charge faster.

  • Level 1: Health is regenerated during OVERDRIVE.
  • Level 2: Health regeneration during OVERDRIVE is increased to 110%.
  • Level 3: Health regeneration during OVERDRIVE is overclocked to 120%.
  • Level 4: Health regeneration during OVERDRIVE is overclocked to 130%.

Overdrive Perks

  • Ability Surge 1 - Level 1. Cooldown for all abilities is reduced by 15% during OVERDRIVE.
  • Speed Boost - Level 2. A boost to movement and reload speeds during OVERDRIVE.
  • Ability Surge 2 - Level 3. Cooldown for all abilities is reduced by 25% during OVERDRIVE.
  • Ability Surge 3 - Level 4. Cooldown for all abilities is reduced by 35% during OVERDRIVE.

Slam

A SLAM that generates a powerful kinetic shockwave. Damage and range increases with height.

  • Level 1: Slam damage at 100%.
  • Level 2: Slam damage is boosted to 125%.
  • Level 3: Slam damage is maxed out at 150%.

Slam Perks

  • Cooldown 1 - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced to 20 seconds.
  • Range 1 - Level 1. Slam shockwave range is boosted to 120%.
  • Cooldown 2 - Level 2. Cooldown is reduced to 15 seconds.
  • Range 2 - Level 2. Slam shockwave range is boosted to 140%.
  • Black Hole 1 - Level 2. A gravitational singularity pulls in targets towards the impact point of the SLAM.
  • Range 3 - Level 3. Slam shockwave range is boosted to 160%.
  • Black Hole 2 - Level 3. BLACK HOLE increases in strength and range.

Dash

A quick Nanotrite propelled dodge. Use during combat to throw off the enemy's aim or to evade incoming attacks.

Source: This skill is obtained at the beginning of the game, when you enter the first ark during The Ranger mission.

  • Level 1: Dash reduces target acquisition for enemies.
  • Level 2: Dash severely reduces target acquisition for enemies and reduces incoming damage by 30% for 1 second.
  • Level 3: Dash completely ruins target acquisition for enemies and reduces incoming damage by 50% for 1.5 seconds.

Dash Perks

  • Cooldown - Level 1. Cooldown is reduced from 3 to 2 seconds.
  • Instant Recovery - Level 1. Perform a Dash when stunned to immediately recover.
  • Dash Strike - Level 2. Press [Key/Button] immediately after a Dash to trigger a heavy impact Melee Strike that inflicts 25% more damage.
  • Dual Dash - Level 3. An additional DASH can be charged.
