After establishing a new outpost, Tann and the Initiative have more faith in your abilities as Pathfinder. You're now free to follow the lead you discovered in the Remnant vault on Eos - the existence of a potentially active vault. This lead is your best hope to make Heleus a home.

To begin A Trail of Hope you must first complete A Better Beginning.
Mission objectives of A Trail of Hope
1. Go to the Onaon System
Upon arrival in the system your ship will be captured by the kett, luckily you will manage to escape.
You will have to emergency land on an alien planet where you will meet angara people for the first time.
2. Follow Paaran Shie
Follow her and listen to her. Don't try to scan.
3. Enter the Angaran Resistance Headquarters
Jaal will take you to the Angaran Resistance HQ. You will meet Evfra there.
Jaal will join your crew.
4. Return to the Tempest
You've made contact with the angara and met Evfra, the leader of the Resistance. However, the angara don't trust you and without their trust, they refuse to give you access to the vault on Aya.
You can acquire two new missions in Aya docks - Trading Favors and Recovering the Past.
5. Go to either Havarl or Voeld
Jaal has suggested two ways to gain the trust of Evfra and the angara. One mission is on the planet Havarl and one is on the planet Voeld.
Jaal will tell you about two new planets Voeld and Havarl. Two new missions will be added to your jounal: Helping Havarl's Scientists (Havarl) and Meet the Resistance (Voeld).
To gain the trust of Evfra and move on, you must complete one of the two missions: Helping Havarl's Scientists mission on Havarl, or Stage a Rescue mission on Voeld (it's a follow up of Meet the Resistance mission).
6. Call Evfra from the Tempest's meeting room
Evfra has heard of your help for the angaran cause and he seems willing to trust you, at least a little more. Jaal says that Evfra has better information on the location of the Moshae, which could lead to getting access to the vault on Aya. You should reach out to him.
7. Meet the Resistance on Voeld in the Nol System
The Moshae has been betrayed by a spy and taken to an impenetrable kett facility on Voeld. A Resistance squad has been assigned to take you to the remote location and to infiltrate the facility with you. Meet them outside the Resistance base on the planet.
8. Infiltrate the kett facility
Find and hack the service panel.
8.1. Enter facility through the vent
Should be easily shattered by gunfire.
9. Talk to the Resistance squad
Talk to Commander Heckt.
10. Search for the Moshae
Find this room ...
... kill the kett inside and use the console.
You will witness the beginning of a certain ritual.
11. Find out where the pods go
12. Scan for the Moshae's pod
Scan the pods located in the room, you won't find Moshae.
13. Interface with a nearby console
14. Locate the Moshae's pod
You will witness the final stage of the exaltation ritual.
Kill the kett.
15. Talk to Jaal
16. Chase the kett Cardinal
Kill the kett in the next room and follow the Cardinal.
17. Defeat the kett Cardinal
Destroy Cardinal's Orb first to remove the Cardinal's shield. Kill him and his minions.
18. Talk to Moshae Sjefa
Cardinal will join the conversation.
You have to make two decisions. The first one: "I'll save the angara" or "I'll destroy the facility".
The second one is a "time limited" decision: Kill or spare kett Cardinal.
19. Escort the Moshae to the edge of the roof
Try to stay inside the protective field created by Moshae.
20. Hold out for the shuttle extraction
You need to defend yourself for some time.
21. Reach the shuttle
Jump into the shuttle as soon as it is possible.
22. Return with the Moshae to Aya
You have rescued the Moshae. She's agreed to take you into the Remnant vault on Aya so that you can see how why it's active and how it's connected to the network of vaults.
You will gain an access to previously inaccessible areas of Aya.
23. Take the shuttle to the Aya vault
24. Follow the Moshae to the Aya vault
25. Investigate the Aya vault
26. Meet Evfra at the Resistance HQ
After completing A Trail of Hope you will get or will be able to get Hunting the Archon.
