Imelda,
It's probably nothing, but Sergeant Vargas wants me to come down to his office. Property dispute is how he put it on the phone. Sounded friendly enough, although if it's about the pool you know that singao Darío is involved.
I was over at his house toasting El Presidente just last week. If he thinks he can get one over on me and stop us from adding that jacuzzi, he's going to be disappointed. I've got friends in the capitolio who don't even know Darío exists.
Talk soon. Maybe grab some fish for dinner?

Subject: Andrés Robles
Offence: Uttering threats against the Yaran government, the person of the President.
Findings: Subject initially denied all accusations completely. Under enhanced interrogation techniques, subject admitted that he may have made a joke or passing comment while drinking at a neighbor's home (note: Darío Contreras provided the initial information leading to subject's arrest). Subject did not remember the specific nature of his threats, but did eventually confess to disparaging the regime.
Resolution: Subject will be transported for additional questions and processing.

Imelda - empty the accounts, all of them. Get as much cash as you can carry. Don't be scared mi vida - open the safe behind the portrait in my study. The combination is Freddy Fonseca's career average in the Yaran league. Those fake passports are the best I could find. That hijo de puta Mererro charges too much anyways. We're leaving this shithole for good. Pay the boy who delivers this note, he's saved us both.

Mi Vida,
We had our first drink together at this very bar. I promised to get you out of the village and into a villa, and I didn't lie. We had everything Imelda, so you need to understand that I don't make this choice lightly. I can't wait any longer - those soldados and that singao Dario won't stop until I'm facing a firing squad. I still believe in the President, but I worry who has his ear. Besides, I can do more for Yara (and you, mi amor, my darling Imelda) without always looking over my shoulder.
I'll send word once I've arrived in Miami - we'll see each other again and rebuild our own paradise. Just wait Imelda, be patient.

Rafael,
A border guard stopped our tourists thanks to your shoddy IDs. This is not acceptable, my friend.
I'm sure I don't need to remind you that everything in life has consequences. It's simple cause and effect. When you cause me to clean up your mess and humiliate myself this way, there is bound to be an effect.
Come to the fruit stand tomorrow. Bring a new batch. I expect quality this time.
