Note: The claimed workshop acts as a free fast travel point and provides you materials from that location, if you interact with the various machines or mining tools specific to that location.
Quest stages of Claim Workshop at {Workshop Location}
1. Clear enemies from {Workshop Location}
If I clear the enemies that are infesting {Workshop Location} the workshop is mine for the taking.
Before you can claim one of the public workshops, you must eliminate the nearby enemies. Objective markers for the enemies you need to clear should appear automatically. If not, open your Pip-Boy and activate the corresponding quest manually.
2. Claim the workshop
The workshop at {Workshop Location} is yours for the taking.
When all enemies surrounding the area are dead, return to the bench, pay some caps and claim the workshop for yourself.
