Map Fragments

Map Fragments are needed to uncover new regions on your map of the open game world available in the Elden Ring.

Map: Abyss This map is located on the base of a stone stele, near the ruins of the church. To reach this place you must first get to the area southeast of the Shadow Keep. To do this, you should use Shadow Keep Ladder #1 and Shadow Keep Ladder #2, after which you will reach the Coffin that will take you to the "Castle Watering Hole" site of grace. Then head south and reach the "Darklight Catacombs" dungeon. After passing it, you'll emerge close to the "Forsaken Graveyard" site of grace from where you'll straightforwardly reach this map fragment.

Map: Gravesite Plain This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. You will be able to pick up this map shortly after you arrive in Realm of Shadow.

Map: Rauh Ruins This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. The map is located on the bottom / ground level of the region (Rauh Base) and you can reach it by going through the Cave Passage, the entrance to which is located in Scadu Altus. Going through this cave you will first reach the poison swamp and then the Ancient Ruins Base site of grace. Walking further west you will reach the place where this map is.

Map: Scadu Altus This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. In order to reach this map fragment, you need to go through Castle Ensis and defeat Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. After that you will be able to open the back door of the castle and exit to Scadu Altus.

Map: Southern Shore This map is located on the base of a stone stele, on the side of the road. One way to get to this part of the map is to go through Ellac River Cave. To reach the entrance to this cave you should start near the southern walls of Castle Ensis and make your way down the rocks to the cave entrance. You should eventually reach the Cerulean Coast site of grace. You can also take a slightly circuitous route through the "Dragon's Pit Terminus" site of grace and then "Grand Altar of Dragon Communion" site of grace.

Revered Spirit Ashes

Consume Revered Spirit Ash at site of grace to bolster your Revered Spirit Ash Blessing. The Revered Spirit Ash Blessing bolsters both summoned spirits' and spectral steed's abilities to deal and negate damage but has no influence outside the realm of shadow.

Containers required for crafting cracked pot / ritual pot / perfume items.

Sorceries

Sorceries are a type of magic in Elden Ring. Sorcery spells are often dependent on the intelligence and they are cast using a staff or similar catalyst.

Incantations

Incantations are a type of magic in Elden Ring. Incantation spells are often dependent on the faith, and are cast using a sacred seal or similar catalyst.

Cookbooks

Cookbooks in Elden Ring are items that provide knowledge on how to make certain items, such as ammunition or consumables.

Talismans

Talismans in Elden Ring are accessories which can be equipped to acquire a variety of offensive, defensive, or utility effects. You can increase the number of talisman equip slots by obtaining talisman pouches.

Ashes of War

Ashes of War in Elden Ring are special items which allow you to change the skills and affinities of your equipment (Weapons & Shields).

Merchants

Merchants are various NPCs that you may meet during your journey through the game world of Elden Ring. You will be able to buy certain items from them and also sell them goods and resources that you no longer need. The currency you will use for trading are runes.

Gestures

Gestures in Elden Ring are basically emotes. They are a useful tool to express yourself to other players. Up to six of them can be bound to a shortcut menu. Certain gestures must be used in certain places to unlock secret passages, etc.

Larval Tears

Larval Tears are special items needed by Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon to grant rebirth meaning that Larval Tears are used to respec your character.

Larval Tears that can be found in the Realm of Shadow can only be found during the night. To locate them look for spectral graveyards that appear at night and are very easy to spot when it gets dark.

Remembrances

Remembrances in the Elden Ring are consumable items that drop out of defeated legendary foes and that provide various powers, such as weapons, sorceries or incantations. Remembrance can either be traded for a substantial amount of runes or handed to Finger Reader Enia in Roundtable Hold to unlock its power.

Remembrance of a God and a Lord Dropped by Promised Consort Radahn. Powers: Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) (Type: Colossal Sword, Skill: Promised Consort), Greatsword of Radahn (Light) (Type: Colossal Sword, Skill: Lightspeed Slash), Light of Miquella (Incantation. Fai: 72. Item Effect: Annihilates foes with a pillar of light.)

Remembrance of Putrescence Dropped by the Putrescent Knight. Powers: Putrescence Cleaver (Type: Greataxe, Skill: Spinning Guillotine), Vortex of Putrescence (Sorcery. Int: 32, Fai: 25. Item Effect: Launches a whirl of putrescent jets.)

Remembrance of the Dancing Lion Drops from Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Powers: Enraged Divine Beast (Item Effect: Raises potency of storms), Ash of War: Divine Beast Frost Stomp (Usable on all melee armaments.)

Remembrance of the Impaler Dropped by Messmer the Impaler. Powers: Spear of the Impaler (Type: Great Spear, Skill: Messmer's Assault), Messmer's Orb (Incantation. Fai: 60. Item Effect: Shapes Messmer's flame into a giant orb that soars at foe.)

Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame Dropped by Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. Powers: Greatsword of Damnation (Type: Greatsword, Skill: Golden Crux), Midra's Flame of Frenzy (Incantation. Fai: 41. Item Effect: Summons Lord of Frenzied Flame's head to spew frenzied flame.)

Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers Dropped by Metyr, Mother of Fingers. Powers: Staff of the Great Beyond (Type: Glintstone Staff, Skill: No Skill), Gazing Finger (Type: Colossal Weapon, Skill: Kowtower's Resentment.)

Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud Dropped by Romina, Saint of the Bud. Powers: Poleblade of the Bud (Type: Halberd, Skill: Romina's Purification), Rotten Butterflies (Incantation. Fai: 33. Item Effect: Summons countless butterflies to scatter rot.)

Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower Dropped by Scadutree Avatar. Powers: Shadow Sunflower Blossom (Type: Colossal Weapon, Skill: Shadow Sunflower Headbutt), Land of Shadow (Incantation. Fai: 58. Item Effect: Fires a hail of golden projectiles toward foes.)

Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight Dropped by Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. Powers: Rellana's Twin Blades (Typ: Light Greatsword, Skill: Moon-and-Fire Stance), Rellana's Twin Moons (Sorcery. Int: 72. Item Effect: Incarnate twin moons and repeatedly strike the ground.)

Remembrance of the Wild Boar Rider Dropped by Commander Gaius. Powers: Sword Lance (Type: Heavy Thrusting Sword, Skill: Spinning Gravity Thrust), Blades of Stone (Sorcery. Int: 48. Item Effect: Pulls blade-like clumps of rock from the earth.)

Info Items

Ancient Ruins Cross Message Message left by Dryleaf Dane, addressed to kindred spirits who also pursue Miquella's trail. "We've found the sealing tree just ahead. But if we are to burn it, we need the proper kindling. That of Sir Messmer."

Castle Cross Message Message left by Needle Knight Leda, addressed to kindred spirits who also pursue Miquella's trail. "Kind Miquella seeks the tower sealed by shadow, and the Gate of Divinity found there. If we are to reach him, we must burn the tree that seals the path. And for that we require a flame."

Furnace Keeper's Note A note left presumably by a furnace keeper, containing admonitions regarding the furnace's proper use. "Keep fire pots well clear when the golem's furnace is ablaze - and never let me catch you with pots that produce flaming whirlwinds, for goodness' sake."

Monk's Missive A letter bearing a terse message and an illustration of a monk, his hands held together. "Seek me to the east if you wish to pursue the way of the warrior. When you find me, you will challenge me to a bout. There is no need for words."

Note: Sealed Spiritsprings It can be purchased from Moore for 1,000 Runes. Note found by the forager brood, imparting knowledge in brief. "Should you chance upon a sealed spiritspring, look for stacked stones nearby. By toppling them, you may break the seal."

Storehouse Cross Message On the table next to the Storehouse, Fourth Floor site of grace. Message left by Sir Ansbach, addressed to kindred spirits who also pursue Miquella's trail. "It would seem that the people of the keep have flooded the holy quarter that leads onward to the Scadutree, barring access. However, there is no route that leads there from this storehouse. Perhaps there is another way to reach the holy quarter, from somewhere else in this keep..."

Torn Diary Page Ground level of Midra's Manse. In the first room on the left after entering the hallway hidden behind the painting. A discarded page ripped from a diary, bearing a passage written in a tremulous hand. "I touched him, but only once. When he thrust his staff in my face, I brushed it aside. It was then that I touched him. The aging untouchable."

Tower of Shadow Message Message left by Needle Knight Leda, addressed to kindred spirits who also pursue Miquella's trail. "The Gate of Divinity lies in the tower sealed by shadow. That is surely where Kind Miquella is headed. We are no Empyreans, but we must locate the path that will lead us there. I will follow the crosses east."

Sites of Grace

Sites of Grace are save / respawn points in Elden Ring. They also serve as fast travel points. In order to use a site of grace, you must first reach it and activate it.

Spiritsprings

Jump while on horseback near a spiritspring to ride its current high into the air. You won't take damage from jumping into a spiritspring while on horseback, even from a great height.
