Epilogue Divinity: Original Sin 2 Quest

Group: My Story So Far ...

Type: Main Quest

This quest is a summary of your final choices. Below is a list of all the possible endings.

Quest stages of Epilogue

1. Endgame1 User

The fate of the world was decided - I ascended. Godwoken no more, I became Divine. Thanks to my actions, the cycle began anew, and Rivellon continued to exist as a land moulded by the magic of Source. Great wonders and horrors alike would continue to influence the lives of every creature in the land, all because of my decision.

Perhaps this was how it should be… or perhaps I have merely repeated the grave mistakes of the past. But I am the Divine; I chose this word, and now I must rule it.

2. Endgame1 Fane

The fate of the world was decided - I ascended. Godwoken no more, I became Divine. With my new powers, I chose to restore the Eternals - but in a way that allowed them to be free of the God King.

A new world was born, thanks to me - but would my decision bring peace and harmony to Rivellon, or would it merely hasten its own destruction?

Only time can tell.

3. Endgame2 User

The fate of the world was decided. With the balance of all that ever was or ever would be resting in my hands, I chose to shun my destiny as a Godwoken, and break the cycle of Divinity. Instead of ascension, I granted the power of Source to all.

A new world was born, thanks to me - one where even the lowliest of creatures were bestowed with great power. Would my decision bring peace and harmony to Rivellon, or would it merely hasten its own destruction?

Only time can tell.

4. Endgame3 User

The fate of the world was decided, and a new path was forged thanks to my actions. I did not ascend, and instead surrendered my powers to Lucian, the onetime Divine and saviour of Rivellon. He then banished Source from our plane of existence, sealing it away beyond the Veil.

The magic of Source was gone, but so too was the threat of the Void.

Lucian would then rule as a the lone, benevolent god, albeit one who was both false and powerless. As powerless as I and all other Godwoken now were.

Would the great sacrifice of Source be the salvation of Rivellon, or would it ultimately suffer once more due to the lies of those who claim to be gods?

5. Endgame4 Sworn

The fate of the world was decided, and the master to whom I am Sworn rose to power. The God King cast a long shadow over Rivellon, and it was never the same again. For me, and all those who stayed loyal to our King, the rewards were great - we would want for nothing in his new world.

But those who stood in opposition to him were faced with a wrath of terrible beauty. The edifices of the Seven usurpers were razed, and their children were enslaved.

The domain of the God King is now all that remains, and it was I who helped usher it into reality.

6. Endgame5 User

The fate of the world was decided, and I fulfilled my destiny as a Godwoken - but in a manner that few would have predicted or desired. My quest for power led me to enter into a pact with the arch-demon, Adramahlikh. Now we are entwined, sharing in the powers of Divinity. But who is truly in control, and what will come of Rivellon under our stewardship?

Only time will tell what will come to pass because of my decisions.

7. Endgame1 Companion

The fate of the world was decided, but not by me.

Another Godwoken fulfilled their destiny, a Divine ascended, and the cycle began anew. Rivellon continued to exist as a land moulded by the magic of Source - forced to embrace both the wonders and horrors that it gave rise to in equal measure.

All was returned to how it should be… or perhaps a great past mistake was repeated.

Only time can tell.

8. Endgame2 Companion

The fate of the world was decided, but not by me. Another Godwoken shunned their destiny, and broke the cycle of Divinity. Instead of ascension over all, they chose a world where all were equal in their mastery of Source.

Thus a new world was started, with great power entrusted into the hands of even the lowliest creatures. Would it bring peace and harmony to Rivellon, or merely hasten its own destruction?

Only time can tell.

9. Endgame3 Companion

The fate of the world was decided, and a new path was forged. The other Godwoken did not ascend, and instead surrendered their powers to Lucian, the onetime Divine and saviour of Rivellon.

Only time can tell.

10. Endgame4 Not Sworn

The fate of the world was decided, and despite my efforts, a figure who was both new and old rose to power. The God King cast a long shadow over Rivellon, and it was never the same again. His wrath was a thing of beauty and terror - he tore down all that was raised by the Seven usurpers, and rebuilt it in his name, for his followers. I, and all who stand in opposition to his will, are now enslaved.

Rivellon was no more. Only the domain of the God King remained. Was it to be like this until the end of time, or could a King once overthrown fall from grace a second time?

Only time can tell.

11. Endgame5 Companion

The fate of the world was decided, but not by me.

Another Godwoken, entwined with the arch-demon Adramahlikh, fulfilled their destiny in a most perverse manner. A new Divine ascended, but one who shared their powers with an entity of pure malice and evil. Rivellon continued to exist as a land moulded by the magic of Source - forced to embrace both the wonders and horrors that it gave rise to in equal measure.

As for our new Divine, I cannot say who truly holds the power. Perhaps the demon lies dormant, or perhaps not.

Only time can tell.
